Our Approach

Psychological evaluation is useful for answering questions in a number of areas. Below are descriptions of some time types of evaluations we perform. Our approach will be informed by the clients specific questions and needs. Below are some of the evaluation approaches based on your needs:

Psychoeducational Evaluations:  Although evaluations are sometimes provided by public school systems, families and adults often turn to private psychologists for greater specificity, greater clarity, increased depth, increased privacy and to accelerate the process. In addition, older teens and young adults frequently require updated evaluations to secure testing accommodations and disability services in college. Our team includes four licensed psychologists who also hold dual certification as nationally and state certified school psychologists.

Psychotherapy Treatment Planning: Psychotherapy is often enhanced through the process of psychological evaluation. The psychological assessment process can help answer tricky diagnostic issues and assist in defining meaningful, and achievable goals and objectives.

Vocational and Career Planning: Psychologists can help inform decisions about careers through standardized assessments of cognitive strengths, academic achievement, personality, and interest.

Division of Developmental Disability (DDD) Eligibility: Many older adults with developmental disabilities lack updated documentation to secure services that are currently provided by family members.  Our team has experience with the requirements of testing for both cognitive and functional abilities required for determination of DDD services.  ________________________________________
